You are wide off the mark that KGB created Bin Laden.

On the contrary it was the subversive war that the American’s fought against the forceful occupation of Afghanistan by the Soviet’s that created Bin Laden.

Once the immediate objective was achieved Afghanistan was a forgotten land and Bin Laden turned a loose cannon ball that fired back on his mentors.

Oil game is at play, for sure.

But letting the region remain a disturbed geography for a long time without being able to break the OPEC oil cartel has led to record high level prices of oil which is hitting all economies hard.

You know, Grace, sometimes I wonder whether there’s actually more than one bin Laden putting on the act for the world, just as there was more than one ”Saddam Hussein” mugging for the TV cameras. Sure, there’s apparently a real bin Laden, but maybe also there’s ”doubles” trained to look, act and even sound like him. This would be most logical if the original BL was dead. If he’s not been acting entirely of his own volition, then those who may have been influencing his words/actions would have an interest in having an actor pose as him in the event that he’s somehow unable to do so himself.

Just thinking outside the box, considering the possibilities.

What we’re told by the mainstream media (MSM), which I find frequently doesn’t really know what it’s talking about, isn’t always the truth, the whole truth and all that. I know that they frequently are clueless as to a lot of things and don’t always bother to do better, deeper research. One of the problems is that they’re constrained by those who control the MSM organizations and call the shots, telling the employees what they can and can’t do and say in broadcasts, etc. I also believe that those who control the MSM organizations sometimes have an ideological agenda, which entails that even the ”free” press in even the free world isn’t always ”free”, so we as regular folks must take it upon ourselves to think for ourselves, ask more questions, look for more facts...

Indeed, Ravinder, I could very well be way off the mark on BL being a creature of the KGB. But as I’ve found via research, to which I linked in the post, that Arafat was a KGB agent, I cannot help but wonder as to the extent of the KGB’s potential involvement with BL, if any. It’s a question worthy of being asked and investigated.

Agreed that OPEC’s power to affect oil supply and prices is an international problem. Personally, I lately fear visiting the gas station, as even my relatively economical little coupe is suddenly terribly expensive to fill up. One of the things we need to do is allow our free world countries to extract more of their own oil and build more refineries so as to expand the supply and bring down prices and also reduce or even eliminate their dependence on oil from non-free countries, who use the massive profits to enrich the few and oppress the many and all that.
